ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE, May 15 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday suggested a Russian missile strike on a Kyiv apartment building that killed 24 people, including three children, could set back efforts to find a peaceful settlement to Moscow's war in Ukraine.

Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with drones ​and missiles, targeting the southern ‌city of Odesa and Dnipro in the country's southeast, ​Ukrainian officials said on ​Monday.

Russian defenses shot down 81 drones headed for Moscow overnight, state agency Tass reported, citing Sobyanin, marking the largest attack on the capital in over a year.

It was “one of the longest, massive Russian attacks against Ukraine,” President Volodymyr Zelensky said on social media.

AT LEAST four people have been killed in massive overnight drone strikes on Russia just days after Vladimir Putin’s deadly attacks on Kyiv.

Russia launched 294 drones overnight, Ukraine's Air Force said, adding that 269 of them were shot down.
